Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Swagman CURRENT eBike Approved Hitch Mount Bike Rack: Secure and Convenient Transport Solution for Electric Bicycles by Moe Gilbert

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Wouldn't recommend, disappointing with cheap materials that failed after less than 100 miles of use.

Bought to carry my new bike with Mongoose Fat tires on my Jeep. I rode it less than 100 miles until one of the cheap plastic ties supposed to hold the tires in place broke and my new bike jumped out, falling behind my Jeep and being dragged along until I could stop. * The rear strap held the rear tire in place, the lock cable prevented the bike from falling off completely. Ruined the rim and blew 2 1/2 holes in the side of the tire. handle the tools. Since the trunk was installed in my jeep I have driven it less than 100 miles, all on regular paved roads, all in my area. Due to COVID19, my travels in the last few months have been limited to short local trips. I want to say that this attitude was not abused, did not bounce off, did not get out of the way. He lasted a bike for just over a week and a half before the belt broke and he threw my brand new bike with mongoose fat tires out of the way. Very disappointed with it. Another note for Jeep owners: if you have a rear-mounted spare tire, your tailgate will be covered 90% by this carrier. Yes, it folds to the side (which is pretty cool if you drive a Subaru Forrester), but to attach a trailer to a Jeep with a 35-inch spare in the back, it makes your tailgate functionally inaccessible.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Don't really like it, everything is fine
