Review on Big Gator Tools STD1000DGNP V-Drill Guide: Accurate and Versatile Drilling Solution by Dave Seawell

This thing seems like a great way to drill straight holes in wood without using a drill press, but that's not really the case. While I intend to keep this guide for backup purposes only, I do NOT recommend it! Even though I used C-clamps to place the lead on the tree, I found that they still didn't help me drill straight holes. I found it was more accurate to make them by hand like I always do! If you need to drill precise holes, use a power drill. Although I already have one, it is large and heavy as you would expect. Now I plan to find a more portable one.
