Bought these for my airplane model collection. I needed something small to keep the large model stands from shifting and scratching the shelf. It's incredibly tiny. They are about 1/4 the area of a dime and slightly larger than a dime when compressed (see pictures). On these stands, they are barely visible from most angles. You really only notice them when you look from the side. In addition, the things have a really good grip, and now my models don't slip anymore. Consider using additional devices on top of other small devices in my office (like a phone stand). Very impressive.
