Revain had so many GPS modules to look at. Use a Garmin running watch and it's awesome. So we were just about to walk out the door to drive 6 hours when my Amazon package arrived. Perfect time. I was afraid it would take a long time or require a wifi update or something. However, once I turned it on, I set the GPS time, entered the location and set it to the windshield using the hardware that came with it, and off we went. This is how it should work. Very happy. We've used it a few times and there are some remote mountainous areas where the GPS drifts slightly off the highway but never more than 30 seconds and it doesn't affect my driving. The only thing I would recommend is if we could dim the screen even more. If you're driving at night, the screen is pretty bright even on the lowest settings, so the transition from GPS to a dark road isn't very smooth. That's my only criticism. Otherwise it works as advertised. The touchscreen is responsive and the perfect size. Less than $60. Do you have any idea what our ancestors had to do to navigate? Many Thanks. Oh, the default speed limit warning was annoying, but I quickly turned it off. I never had to look at the user manual, which is nice when the program is intuitive and self-explanatory.
