This rug is great at keeping water, dirt and loose sand out of the door

I had to clean the entryway to both the kitchen and our studio, sometimes twice a day. This carpet was an integral part of the three-part solution for both entrances. It's expensive, but that's because it's powerful and well-engineered to do what it claims to do and look good doing it. It is also comfortable to walk on, and if you wipe your feet (shoes) on it, you can say that you get rid of the remnants of dripping water (when it rains outside), as well as loose dirt and sand (when it rains), so you live in one rural area where there is a lot of dirt as you walk around the house past manicured areas like me). You'll need to vacuum regularly to remove loose dirt, but it's better than loose dirt. and the sand is scattered throughout the house where it becomes fine dust that settles on everything else in the house. I immediately noticed a big difference. I still have to vacuum regularly, but not every day. The amount of dirt and debris carried inside is greatly reduced. For the other two parts of my solution to my problem, I also bought some Durable Durite Recycled Tire Link Outer Mats to allow water and coarse debris to drain and fall below the surface. Tire material left. That also helped a lot. And for those times when dirt got stuck in our shoes, I bought a heavy-duty professional Carlisle boot and shoe brush/scraper. It's built for tough conditions and lasts a long time. I regret that until recently, when I was looking for new flooring, I did not know of any commercially available solutions and products that would do an excellent job of solving my household problem. It was coincidence and luck. I'll be waiting a while before I go the extra mile and buy another set of this mat paired with another tire mat for our front door. These products last for years and are worth the investment.
