Not heavy enough to stand alone.
Might work fine if used with a table but blows over standing alone with a 9 ft umbrella.
I needed to be able to move it around to chase the sun and to also use the angle on my umbrella to block the sun. Base is simply not heavy enough to hold it up.
- Provides optimal stability for patio umbrellas to remain upright even on windy days
- The base is not suitable for use in windy conditions, even when filled with sand or water
