When I first installed the charger I used a simple hook to wrap the cord around the wall. It worked well, but I liked the idea of "plugging in" the charging connector instead of dangling it. As it turned out, it is much more convenient with its own holder for the charging connector. While it doesn't seem like much of an inconvenience to grab the cable and then grab the connector with your other hand, or just find a dangling connector, it's much easier to grab the connector straight from its cradle. The bracket holds the plug well and also releases it when ready for use. I don't have a nice finished garage, but if I did, this organizer would look right at home. The finish is very nice and the fact that it has no visible clasps is a nice touch.
