Review on Nalgene Easy Sipper: Optimized For 32 Oz Wide Mouth Bottle by Roger Calvert

Revainrating 4 out of 5

does what it says, but is not perfect

I have been going back and forth about whether I prefer the wide-mouthed or narrow-mouthed Nalgene bottles. The wide-mouthed ones are much easier to clean and you don't need special ice trays to make ice that fits in them. However, I have a tendency to spill the liquid from the wide-mouthed bottles. I bought this lid, thinking it would help.First off, this fits pretty well into a 32 oz Nalgene wide-mouthed bottle. You just set it inside the rim and push it into place (fill the bottle with your drink first, though). Don't push too hard or the lid will likely fall into the bottle. You can screw the cap on as normal. I also find this lid to be dishwasher safe (I put it in the silverware basket and used a no-heat dry). There are some things about the lid that I don't like. First, it's still possible to get a little dripping out the opening (this happens mostly when I work out and don't have a lot of time to drink slowly). Also, sometimes drinking with the lid in place seems to create a suction effect and I notice the lid wanting to be pulled into the bottle. The following does not affect my rating, but please note that despite the picture, you are getting only one of these lids for the price, not six. It's black, for what it's worth. 3.5 stars.
