Does NOT work with Chromecast or Firestick - shows everything in black and white.
I bought this product to use a replacement Chromecast on an old TV. I plugged it in and it worked; However, everything was in B&W. I tried it with Firestick and got the same result. When I researched this issue, it turned out that this adapter doesn't fully adjust the HDMI signal so you can see it in color. I'm returning it and trying another one (https://www.amazon.com/HDMI-Converter-Google-Chromecast-Composite/dp/B00Z81EY8K?ref_=nav_signin&). This ensures that it works with Chromecast and Firestick.
