READ USE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Received these for Christmas 2013 to replace my cheap nonstick set. After my husband ordered them, I read some of the reviews and saw that recent reviews weren't very good. There have been many complaints about staining, sticking, warping and so on. I was concerned that the most recent production couldn't live up to the set that got all the rave reviews from 2006-2010. When I received my set the first thing I did was read the use and care instructions cover to cover and I was relieved to see that all of the most common "problems" with this set were resolved. If your food sticks and burns, you're using too much heat. There are instructions on how to clean pots when they are stained and that you should fill pots/pans with a small amount of warm water immediately after cooking to make cleaning easier. something like cooking pasta. (Vinegar) I've found that hand washing and drying removes stains and gives a nice shine to dishes better than using the dishwasher. If your food is sticking, your cooking temperature is TOO HIGH. I think the negative reviews about this product come from people who don't understand that this is stainless steel cookware and that you have to constantly correct your old culinary prejudices, because everything is different with stainless steel. This is a quality cookware set and I would recommend it.
