This switch was just what I needed to upgrade the electronics on my old bass tracker. I decided to separate the middle (yellow and blue) wires that constantly hold the small displays. It's okay, I just didn't want to drain the battery, albeit sparsely. This made the switches 5-leaf garden switches. In terms of waterproofing, the switches themselves are sealed. I got caught in the rain and there was no problem with the switches. The plate itself has a slim rubber grommet to seal the console or whatever you attach to it. Nice little panel. To be honest I'm sorry I didn't get the 8th group and not the 6th so more components can be added in the future.
