We have 4 dogs. Three gentle lazy sloths and one complete and utter sloth. She pulls, barks, growls, digs random holes (on walks!), growls and sometimes even howls at trifles. She's been in behavioral training, like really intense training to no avail, and she's even been on antidepressants and THESE work, but they work too well and she's just crazy. One way to help her stay calm is to walk her 3-4 miles a day, but that's next to impossible because she'll likely bite someone if she gets the chance. So someone suggested that instead of just taking them out at 3am on weekends (because I'm weekdays) so we don't run the risk of bumping into someone, try this collar. She absolutely hates it. She gropes it and even barks at me when I take it out to put it on her. But after 5 minutes walk she completely forgets he is there. That is, until she starts doing her crazy dog things, at which point all it takes is a gentle tug and she becomes the perfect angel. Now I can walk her every day at the usual time and thanks to these constant walks she is very happy and less crazy. This is the best idea out of hundreds of things we have tried for you.
