Very well built skate but difficult break in period

and the fabric of the boot ripped in places I decided to upgrade to higher quality skates. I knew that hard boots take longer to break in, but it was really hard for me to get used to. At first I could only wear them for about an hour and had terrible blisters and pain in my legs. I also developed a bloody old-fashioned one that still works to this day. The problem was that I loved driving it so much that I drove even when it was easier for me. After three months they have become much more comfortable. I've found that wearing two pairs of longer socks (compression + soft) helps a lot. I've also found that a certain way of dressing feels more comfortable to me (loose on the leg strap, tighter on the ankle of the boot which hurts my right foot). After a short time I have visibly loose wheels and all sorts of chips on the plastic frame. They seem to be much more durable and I don't have to constantly tighten them. The feel is also much more responsive when riding. I also like the bigger wheels - they give you a little more speed but still have four contact points for agility. I can finally slide down things like stairs without worrying about my skates falling apart. Overall: Great performance skates and well built, but beware the break-in period and spend some time figuring out what tension to use. You need to feel better and good socks too.
