After installing 4 RAM sticks my computer wouldn't start. He emitted a typical series of beeps that indicated poor memory. I ran memtest+ on each flash drive individually. One of the 4 sticks failed the test after the first run. I contacted the Xtreme Ram seller and they quickly replied that they would return a joystick as a replacement. I did this (for my own money) about 2 weeks ago and got no response. The "like me" seller is located in California so I don't think the exchange will take too long. In the end, the initial order took just two days. I'm currently using 3 good quality RAM sticks on my PC (6GB) and everything is fine. I will update this review when/if I get new RAM. If I don't get a response by Friday I will file a Revain claim. *UPDATE* Got a new RAM bar. Throw it along with the other 3 bars (8GB total). Loaded well, but then Firefox, VLC and IE started crashing after a few minutes. Then I got a blue screen memory dump. Forget it, I'll just return the entire order. Put my old memory back in (4 sticks of 1GB each) and the computer runs perfectly again. The old memory is a bit slower and I checked the MOBO compatibility and this new memory should work. Good. We will let you know if the return/refund goes smoothly. * Update from 04/17/2013 The seller returned the money without problems. I never understood why 3 memory sticks worked and 4 didn't. I was running out of patience on an already decently running machine.
