I installed them; now they are used up within a day. They work well and appear to be a great replacement for the old worn out gas struts on my 2010 RX 350. However, their installation was not as easy as expected. The spring clips at the tailgate end proved difficult to position, requiring not only a screwdriver, but also pliers and considerable force. This made the installation much more labor intensive than expected. It seems like a good product, but expect extra time, tools, and effort to install. Time will tell how long they last. Update: After less than a week of use, one rack completely failed. Returning will avoid & in the future.
