Review on 🔌 Pioneer Headunit Direct Wire Harness: Toyota and Subaru Compatibility by Fred Griffin

Purchased for use with a Pioneer head unit to replace an older Pioneer head unit on a 1997 Toyota Landcruiser. Took 10 minutes to install. Removed the old block and wiring harness. Connect this harness to the 2 gray connectors on the dash to bypass the factory amp. Disconnected the factory amplifier plugs on the amplifier behind the glove compartment. I also hooked up a rear view camera by connecting the purple wire to the red wire coming from the camera's RCA connector. The other end of the camera goes to the rear of the vehicle and attaches to the reverse lamp wiring harness. This part of the work was already done by the previous owner. Installed new Pioneer in the dashboard and everything worked. It was much easier than connecting all the Pioneer harness wires to the Metra harness. All the hard work has already been done with this product.
