OK. I have a huge project where I need to build support columns, each column section includes 4 sections of 24" long HSS 3 x 3-3/16 and then 6.4" long. Pieces of square tubing of the same size. My metal supplier charged $7 per cut. So any speaker that cost me $210 just cost me. So I went out and bought a cheap $200 Harbor band saw. And one of those blades, so each pillar, would cost me $210 just to cut. So I went out and bought a cheap $200 band saw. One of those blades and a Bosh blade just in case. Made 35 clean cuts so far and it still looks very sharp, broke a few teeth but I think it's paid for itself several times over.
