We used 2 of these straps a little differently than intended. We have two e-bikes that we like to transport on the back of a pickup truck, standing, with two handlebars pointing in one direction. We've criss-crossed these bars from one bike to another. a seat post to the handlebar post of the opposite bike and vice versa. We then used one mount per bike to attach it to the back of the truck. The tension on each side held each bar tight and tight so it couldn't come loose, creating an incredibly durable means of transportation. The bars themselves are made of very durable metal with a thick anti-scratch coating on the hooks to connect them to the bike. Very well done and the perfect solution to an otherwise difficult problem.
