Sturdy, well made - trunk, transport and storage

The only thing I didn't like was that the length is not fixed once the bar is in place - the bar can slip back and forth by an inch or so. The rest of the bar works great.

Holds bike on bike rack

Easily attaches to bike. I have a girls bike that doesn't easily attach to my bike rack. This bar converts the bike into a safe and secure rack mount. The buy 2 deal was an added bonus.โ€ This is a great bike bar and a great purchase. Even the strongest bike frames become a dream to mount on a car bike mount.

Be careful, they open when you drive on the road

I really wish they would work but the clasp holding the claws together loosened the claws when I was riding, luckily only one side was loose otherwise my mountain of suspension would have been strewn all over the road. I had to stop on 4 separate occasions to reattach the bike. The price for two of them is high but I can't risk losing the bike as I'm traveling so I'll try to get them back.

Error on the highway

I used this product to ride a bike about 100 miles for a month, mainly on paved roads. I then took my bikes on a longer freeway trip and the element didn't work. I encountered a small bump and the pin let the clasp open. There was too much free space in the lever that opens or closes the front. This dropped the front of my bike and caused the front wheel to drag across the road. I'd happily return it for my money, but I'm out of the return window. I will never use this item again and recommendโ€ฆ

Worked well for our application.

We used 2 of these straps a little differently than intended. We have two e-bikes that we like to transport on the back of a pickup truck, standing, with two handlebars pointing in one direction. We've criss-crossed these bars from one bike to another. a seat post to the handlebar post of the opposite bike and vice versa. We then used one mount per bike to attach it to the back of the truck. The tension on each side held each bar tight and tight so it couldn't come loose, creating an incredibly
