Great chair with a few BIG flaws

Chair arrived on time and undamaged which is good. The assembly was pretty straight forward. The seat of the chair is nice and thick and well padded, it looked like it would last a long time. The back wasn't as thick as I thought it would be. My previous chair had thick padding, while this chair has thin padding wrapped around a hard plastic frame. The armrests only move up and down, no other adjustments, and they were fine, but felt flimsy and could break on the road. The chair has a sufficient number of adjustments but does not have a good reclining mechanism. You can recline, but only the back reclines, much like in a car seat. The seat of this chair rises about an inch while most other chairs recline the seat with the backrest. Even worse, you can't adjust the tension of the backrest! My back constantly felt that I was being "pushed" forward. Trying to sit back was possible, but it took too much effort to be comfortable. The last nail in the coffin was the lack of help from HON. There is no phone to call. The email contact form on their website looks like you are asking a question but after two weeks no one has replied and instead they take your email and sign up for their marketing newsletter! Because of this I sent the chair back (which took a lot of effort to take apart and put back in the box, luckily some YouTube videos helped me) and luckily got my money back and now I'm looking for another chair. Most likely there will be no further HON due to lack of support. If you don't mind the lack of recline tension and the recline of the seat, then this chair might be for you. It looks amazing and I really wanted to like it but just couldn't work for me.
