Review on Impact drill BOSCH GSB 13 RE (0 601 217 100), 600 W blue by Wiktor Getka ᠌

In general, everything is not bad, but I expected more.

I don't understand why there are so many positive reviews. Apparently this wow effect is akin to Luntiks with aliexpress - they just bought it and immediately scribble a review. So, I share invaluable experience after a year of use. 1) The drill is weak. At low speeds, the cartridge stops with two fingers without difficulty. Accordingly, drilling metal is not about this drill. 2) Sleeve instead of bearing on the shaft. I don’t know what to call it, but in my opinion Bosch is just mocking. Decent drills have two bearings there, and here one bushing. If you work on bricks, then after each wall you have to re-grease this ing bushing. 3) Keyless chuck, that says it all. I have not seen a single keyless chuck that has not loosened over time. 4) Price. This drill should cost at least 2 times cheaper. However, this is Bosch, if you don’t , you won’t live. The blue color seems to hint at professional use, but in fact, the drill is only suitable for repairs in your own apartment in a modern new building, molded from aerated concrete on foam. This drill is contraindicated for residents of brick houses. Outcome: so-so. However, if it were some kind of Interskol with an appropriate price, one could put 4 stars. The plastic is good, the ons-switches too, the brushes are also good, and the metal inside is not bad. But this does not eliminate the above disadvantages. Threat if you want to return money for a drill under warranty - just turn on low speed and hold the chuck with your hand for a couple of minutes - the drill will burn itself without visible damage. This is a life hack for those who, like me, think that it has been marketed.

Pros
  • All switches are comfortable, lie well in the hand, the case material is tactilely pleasant, the cord is more or less soft.
Cons
  • The keyless chuck begins to unwind over time, the sleeve on the shaft inside instead of the bearing, very weak power at low speeds
