Review on Triplett Network Cable Tester Inductive by John Pound

I only need this for testing and tracking RJ-45/Cat5/6 so I can't talk about testing the coax capability. The device works as advertised and helped me quickly locate the end of the correct wire in the rat's nest demarcation room two floors below our new offices. The process would be even faster if I had a sound tracking tool that works with this device. Yeah I didn't know when I bought this. You can put the main unit in "Tone" mode and choose which pair gets the tone, then use a sniffing tool (not included) to find the wire in the walls or even at the other end. Now I will search for this tool. The device makes a very well-made and solid impression. It is easy to use and provides instant test results.
