Review on Gabor Tilting Mount 37 71 Screens by Walter Day

Looking for a solid mount for a 55 inch Samsung LED TV. Due to the fact that we wanted to place the TV (in the middle of the wall) it was difficult to install the studs on a different wall mount. styles as we have tried several. Other mounts left the TV off-center on the wall, which was impossible. Finally found this mount, widened the rails and secured them with 3 bolts (only needed 2 but as we had one right in the middle we added it just in case! Price is right, solid heavy construction, very easy installation, all the necessary hardware , which also includes spacers and extensions, the tilt works very well and makes it easier to remove the TV Two warnings: 1. When using the mounting rails in the fully extended position, make sure the TV mounting points are far enough apart to accommodate the TV to accommodate more spacing. As our bracket was only partially extended and the brackets were attached to the TV, we had limited room to hook the top of the lip onto the rails to hang the TV. If it were a little wider the brackets wouldn't fit into the bar and that bracket would be useless too.2.On the bottom There are 2 screws on the brackets that need to be tightened after the TV is mounted on the rail. There are 2 holes on the outside bottom edges of the rails, guess where to screw it in. Hmmm, the brackets (attached to TV, smaller width) and mounting holes (attached to wall, widened) just didn't match. We were able to tighten those screws on the underside of the rails a little more, but it would be nice if there were additional holes on the underside of the rails that would accept screws to hold the TV in place.
