Review on ๐ŸŒก๏ธ ThermoPro TP03: Digital Instant Read Meat Thermometer with Backlight, Magnet, and Versatile Cooking Applications by Lisa Ramirez

Broke down in 6 months

First I liked this ThermaPro instant thermometer: comfortable button that pushes out the probe, easy on/off switch, clear display - it all won my heart. Also, the thermometer appeared to be accurate. Then after using it fairly regularly (about 4 times a week) he started having problems. At first the probe got stuck and didn't surface. I sort of fixed it so can't complain, but after only a few months of use it felt weird. Then one day the probe completely detached from the red plastic handle (see photo). I enlisted the help of my husband who used Crazy Glue to prevent this from happening again. And then tonight all my hopes were dashed when after carefully (insulated) removing the probe from the pork chop (see photo) the probe again detached from the red plastic but this time the metal part detached from the wires leaving the pork inside ! Luckily my husband had pliers nearby and we were able to remove the metal probe fairly easily. However, after this last incident, I cannot recommend this product in the slightest, especially for those who need to use Instant Read multiple times. the week. What a disappointment that this came after only 6 months - CHEAP!
