I am surprised at how well this welder works. Twice as expensive as at the hardware store. Seems a little light but the weight doesn't make the weld. I'm an arc welder, this machine welds with rod (arc) as far as TIG welding goes. I'm not buying it, I pretend to be a TIG welder but my welding skills always require the use of gas, this model says it can but has no gas connection and no TIG gun was supplied. Almost everyone I know who is a welder says TIG should use gas. But I will never know that there is no gas connection on this welder and no TIG gun tells me it cannot TIG weld.
