Great welder for hobbyists

I'm by no means a professional welder, but I have stick welding experience in the past. I needed something to cut and replace part of my truck's exhaust pipe and it worked like a champ. Very good car and worth every penny. It takes 20 minutes to get used to as it is very different from a welder but once you get the hang of it it gets the job done and is very efficient.

Pros
  • Hands-free work
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Very good! for welding machines

I bought this welding machine to work with flux and was not disappointed. I've used it several times and every time I use it to weld I'm amazed at how smoothly it welds the cored wire welding machine. As a result, I use my MIG welder a lot less. Rod welding is fine with it, but stay away from 6010. Will weld with 6011 and 7018 but I wouldn't buy it as a welder. Good for occasional small jobs. Overall a great welder at a great price. I don't use the tig function.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Was damaged

TIG welding requires Argon

I am surprised at how well this welder works. Twice as expensive as at the hardware store. Seems a little light but the weight doesn't make the weld. I'm an arc welder, this machine welds with rod (arc) as far as TIG welding goes. I'm not buying it, I pretend to be a TIG welder but my welding skills always require the use of gas, this model says it can but has no gas connection and no TIG gun was supplied. Almost everyone I know who is a welder says TIG should use gas. But I will never know…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Cheap as hell welder

Let y'all know I love this machine. I can't handle 7018 5/32 but you can handle A3 32. 7018. She has no sweat problems. It's great for all welding jobs. You can do pretty much anything with the trailer as long as it's no thicker than half an inch, but don't put it down Beginners always remember to preheat and preheat. This is the best advice I can give you as the TIG does what it is supposed to do. I wish it had a foot pedal, it can do Remember to warm up my words, this mug works well, just…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • The list goes on.

Damn Cheap Welder

just let everyone know i love this car it was i can't handle 7018 5/32 but you can handle a3 32 you can do anything fine as long as it's no thicker than half an inch but do not put it down, do not know where something will have a tie, and without pressure, it is a good beginner for beginners, always remember to preheat and preheat This is the best advice I can give you, as it in Tig does what it needs to do. I wish it had a foot pedal. Can I help myself a little and that's it if he will…

Pros
  • Powerful machine: Up to 135 amps output that can weld mild steel up to 1/8 inch (3.0 mm) thick.
Cons

Very happy with this little welder!

I was a registered welder 30 years ago before moving into nursing. I still used a small welder from time to time and decided to try a cored wire welder to use in my garage at 110 ohms. I borrowed a more expensive wire feeder from a friend and knew they worked for what I needed them for. I was very pleased with the performance of this little welder. I welded together a 1/2" flat stock and made racks to hang 3 kayaks in my shed. They turned out great. I didn't use digital numbers to set it, I ran

Pros
  • Welds up to 0.030" (0.8mm) and 0.035" (0.9mm) flux cored wire. Can work with main electrode E7018.
Cons
  • Out of fashion

The wire feed cannot be controlled separately from the power.

I really wanted to like this welder but it doesn't work. In general, a regular welder. For the money, it has better cable length and features than the competition. It has a higher duty cycle (if correct) than anything else in its class. The ground clip is of much better quality than the others and overall the build quality seems good. Unfortunately, after receiving the unit and trying it out (and reading the manual), I found that the wire feed speed is set based on the current setting, making…

Pros
  • Powerful machine: up to 135A output current for welding mild steel up to 1/8 inch (3.0mm) thick.
Cons
  • No power

Good Simple Simple Machine

This welder is a little different than what I expected, but not for the better. I am not a professional welder. I have never used a wire feed welder before buying this welder. I have a lot of experience with electrode welding machines. I bought it to have something more versatile than the Zeny 160 arc welder I bought last year. For the capable hobbyist, a multiprocessor welder makes sense. I did a little looking around and went for this, it seemed to have the best features, best price and other

Pros
  • Large enough to handle 2lb coils of wire.
Cons
  • New Competitors Arrive
