I've used it several times and every time I use it to weld I'm amazed at how smoothly it welds the cored wire welding machine. As a result, I use my MIG welder a lot less. Rod welding is fine with it, but stay away from 6010. Will weld with 6011 and 7018 but I wouldn't buy it as a welder. Good for occasional small jobs. Overall a great welder at a great price. I don't use the tig function.
