I really wanted to like this welder but it doesn't work. In general, a regular welder. For the money, it has better cable length and features than the competition. It has a higher duty cycle (if correct) than anything else in its class. The ground clip is of much better quality than the others and overall the build quality seems good. Unfortunately, after receiving the unit and trying it out (and reading the manual), I found that the wire feed speed is set based on the current setting, making it unprofitable for me. Furthermore, the adjustment guide is basically useless as the knobs are in the low/mid/high position while the manual says everything in volts and m/min. This is the best guess as to what the settings should be. It's annoying enough, but the inability to control the wire feed separately from the power supply makes it only suitable for beginners looking to bond metal. It does this job well, but the wire feed is too high in my opinion, making it unsuitable for important tasks.
