THE EASIEST AND MOST EFFECTIVE PRODUCT

Easy My cheaper POS 5870 removed drivers for this printer installed printer options opened and cash drawer enabled before printing WORKS Nothing in the world could work better than this product. Prints super fast! FYI, don't expect the manual to have POS/esc commands as it says it's not publicly available, but it doesn't look like Google can't fix it. COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS 8! SO YES IT WORKS WITH EARLY VERSIONS The printer comes with some extra parts. Throw them aside as not needed BUT USEFUL USB cable included for printer and all. Print up to 80mm. I can use VB in my custom POS system but if anyone knows me I'll figure it out and work. Uses an RJ12 plug (phone jack) for the cash drawer and it's PIN2 in case anyone is interested and the secondary is PIN5. Here I haven't seen the secondary connector, unless you're using a splitter or whatever, I've never seen two cash drawers used for one POS system, but it's capable. Superb quality Even the sample receipt comes with tape and boxed! In a nutshell, easy software installation Ignore the paper instructions, you have to take a ride just to see you just put the paper away and you're done with it. No need to fiddle with extra settings, just turn on the cash drawer before/after printing and you're done. All these coupon settings, barcodes are good, but it's best to use them in software development for better control, but it's also useful. I use code 3-9 and the scanner recognizes my transaction numbers correctly. You now have programming options for setting up the cutter and all that, but for those who need something to store quickly to serve my customers this is by far the best and a lot cheaper than the t88 models I use in I see no difference. Acts like a regular printer, you set it up and print what you want and it automatically scales it to fit the edge of the printer paper and you're done (no need to play with the setup). MILES OF PAPER SO I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT CHROME AS MY POS FRONT. I USE FIREFOX OR OPERA) As I said, the only problem I had that isn't a printer error is using ESC/POS commands, but I had this problem with my other printer, simply because I don't program in C# and vb Net (YET IT HAS SOME SAMPLES FOR VB6 FOR THOSE STILL USING VB6!) If you want something fast, simple, out of the box, reliable, high quality and easy to print on the fly with no messy setup. TO BUY.
