These things are SUPER comfortable. The rubber holding my front light broke and I tried using it to hold it up and it works so well I've kept it that way ever since. The screws holding my water tank got lost and fell off. Trying to find a temporary solution hence my dilemma I removed the one holding my front light and used it to hold the side of the cup holder and it WORKS! (No, I don't keep it there lol) Also, I've used them to attach an air pump to a bike. A light on my helmet so I can see better on a REALLY dark road. So far he has been able to hold everything with no problems. It's come in handy, I'm buying another pair to have on hand because at this price point I'll need it sooner rather than later. I recommend 100% for everyone.
