From the time I received this order from 14/07/20 to 24/07/20 I needed this extension to work. Initial contact with the seller required two technical calls to Netgear. After contacting the seller who referred me to Netgear, I had to scour YouTube and the web for a solution. The solution was to go to the Netgear website. Their website has moved and been redesigned several times over the years. After hours of clicking the links I finally got to the link to verify that the Netgear Extender is broadcasting the correct SSID. My whole problem that Netgear and I couldn't solve was that NETGEAR_EXT wasn't showing up in my wireless settings. Using this link on the Netgear page I was able to reset the extender to broadcast the NETGEAR_EXT SSID to my WiFi settings. After the change on the website I was able to get the SSID in my WiFi settings so I could set my devices to get the SSID from the extender. 10 days and many hours of work. I will never buy a Netgear product again. Their websites are outdated and their information is inaccurate. Thanks to the technicians for staying with me. I will get another extension but it will not be Netgear.
