I bought this to replace my 2018 Zosi. Setup was easy. Wifi was a little painful but tech support was very quick with replies within minutes each time. It turns out that you can only plug a wireless adapter into a USB port. So the system and the application are synchronized. There, the PC app was a bit of a hassle. So use the cloud port if you want to view or control the camera from your PC. 2MP cameras will be upgraded to 5MP as they become available for better resolution. The operating system on this DVR is Lynix. It's fast enough when you're looking for a time frame and playing the video you want to watch, or you can just watch the on-screen camera backwards 5 minutes at a time. The application is easy. All cameras are set to the maximum data rate. With the camera I have normal quality now but 5mp will be much better. I will eventually replace all 8 cameras for this impressive system. Use only WD Purple or Seagate SkyHawk drives as they can withstand heat and write to the drive continuously. The case is good. This is a fan slot that I installed and wired to keep it cooler. The WiFi speed in kilobits per second is much faster than my old dash cam. The email support there is very good.
