Review on HOME X Strainer Colander Wedding Housewarming by Bobby Valadez

This is the 4th time in 15 years that I have ordered this strainer. I first found and bought it in a school fundraising catalogue. It was delicious. The original has worn out over time. He lived a good life and served me well. It's been hard to find ever since, and my current one is falling apart. I AM SO HAPPY to have found him again. It fits over a ledge in my split sink. I've bought similar designs but none of them worked. We use it to wash lettuce leaves, dry pasta and veggies, but mostly I keep it in the sink to collect dirty dishes waiting to be washed in the dishwasher. I'm so used to using it this way every day that I really panicked when it started showing actual signs of aging. I love this product and never thought I would be so excited about a sink strainer. One caveat I think - I have a stainless steel sink so the rim is about an inch wide. Due to my fans excitement over this rare item, I bought two last time to give one to my mom. Turns out it has a porcelain sink and the ledge is wider - maybe 1 1/2 or 2 inches. Anyway, it didn't work in her sink - at least it didn't work when I sat on the side of the comb like I use mine.
