Not installed yet. But I noticed that the centers of the outer holes for the sections are 15 inches apart. Must be 16 inches for the lugs to hit dead center for a standard American frame. I can get the job done by turning the long screws out since the studs are 14 1/2 inches apart. If you install the screws at a 90 degree angle, you will hardly catch or possibly miss the bolt (due to assembly tolerances). Then you can use the 850 lb. Forget carrying capacity.
