Review on ๐Ÿท๏ธ Efficient and Versatile Labeling with Brother PT-80 P-touch Electronic Labeling System by Geoff Cooper

Battery problems render this product unusable!

As someone who has been happy with other Brother products, I think the company is really wrong. I've read reviews that mention batteries don't last long. But for a brand new battery, it's ridiculous to only print about 7 (SEVEN) small labels before the machine shuts down. The biggest shock for me, however, was that this label printer does NOT accept rechargeable NiMH batteries. And remember that there is no power adapter for this device. I think this is a serious design flaw (or defect) that renders it utterly useless unless you like using alkaline batteries like popcorn. I returned this product after a very short time (thanks AMAZON!) and ordered another label printer (Brother PT-2100). And the PT-2100 is AWESOME! The PT-2100 can use researchable NiMH batteries (and seems to last forever) and comes with an AC adapter. The Pt-80 had enough power for my needs, but until my brother fixes the power problem it's not a machine. you can rely on ....
