Not as easy as shown in the video

Takes some practice and has a large surface area so you need to make sure you get the right type/size of corn husk because it's even harder when you get them need the shells together. I don't know, maybe I just need more practice, but I've tried it on two separate occasions and each time gave up and went back to my cake frosting dispenser. The angle you hold the spatula at determines the amount/thickness of masa for the tamale, and even if I keep it flat (the thickest layer possible) there's still not enough masa. After cooking, the tamale will become brittle and the masa will fall apart.
