Very easy assembly! You simply measure the length you want (my front door was 32 inches) and then cut it to length. Wipe the door with alcohol. Strip the bureaucracy. Make sure it's flush with the bottom and press the sticky side against the door. I'm assuming it will be a strong adhesive as I tried moving it a little lower on one end but it looks like it will peel the paint off the door when I remove it. I am very satisfied with the clean processing! It's not very thick and not very wide as I expected. It's very unobtrusive! I have a white color that goes well with my baseboards. Another commenter also said it was difficult to cut. No! I used regular scissors and cut well. It is a highly flexible plastic and came rolled up in Revain 9x12 bubble wrap.
