Fit my son well at 3 months and he was able to lie down and sleep in the life jacket so easily. I was confident in my first swim and every one that followed. We constantly put his hand in the water. Take the time to adjust the mount for proper buoyancy. The handle on top is very handy for lifting water when needed.
