Excellent purchase! c Boating

We have a five week old girl weighing 8 pounds. We love spending the summer at the cabin on our family boat. Trying to find a life jacket that would fit her so small was very difficult. I was able to tighten the straps of this jacket and even test it in the bathroom. My baby fell asleep while swimming. We were able to take her on the boat knowing she would be safe should anything happen. best buy My favorite part is that she can use it next summer too. worth your money.

Good investment for safety and life jacket

The best life jacket for kids. The child is mobile and safe. Maybe not as buoyant as a US Coast Guard PFD, but still a life jacket that a baby will wear without crying all the time and can be breastfed. It's so relaxed our baby falls asleep in it almost every boat trip, and the handy mesh pockets on the front are perfect for stashing passies. Very expensive but worth the comfort and safety of the child. Our child wore it for the first 12 months and got used to wearing it so much that after…

Worth the money for the comfort, doesn't swim very well.

we have a boat and our son was from 9 months to 14 months, 24-27 pounds, this sea season. It fit perfectly and was the only jacket he didn't cry in. It didn't bother him at all, didn't make him too hot and was comfortable enough to sleep and play in. My only complaint is that it's not very buoyant. He loves to swing and we always took him in the water with his jacket and buoyancy but a couple of times we tried swimming with him with just his jacket and it made me nervous I had to support him…

Comfortable for a toddler for hours

I was hesitant to spend that much on a life jacket that would probably only fit our 16 month old grandson for one season. But it was the best buy. This life jacket was COMFORTABLE allowing her arms, legs and upper body to move freely so she was comfortable both in the boat and in the water. In the water she lay safely on her back, although I think it's still possible that if the baby falls face down, they won't be able to get up. So it doesn't eliminate the need for constant close monitoring…

Unmatched fit for little kids up to 20 pounds!

It was a great purchase. As a family on the lake who spends weekends on the boat, the safety of my newborn boy was a big concern. Research has led me to realize that there isn't a really good option for babies under 25 pounds. The smallest US Coast Guard approved jackets tend to place babies face down in the water and are not suitable for smaller babies. Too large. This option looked promising and worked. Fit my son well at 3 months and he was able to lie down and sleep in the life jacket so…

Recommended but a bit expensive.

If you spend a lot of time on the water, the investment can be worthwhile. I bought this for my then 2 month old at the beginning of the summer. (I think she was about 12 pounds). We have used it several times over the past few months, in swimming pools, on a boat and canoe and even in a creek. She definitely prefers to be in the water when she needs to use it, but this is by far the best life jacket I've used on a child. It's thinner than the others and I feel the double collar fits her head…

I can't appreciate the price of rest

Of course, this is a very expensive life jacket. But that's the only downside to it. My daughter is 17 months, loves the water and fits into 9 month old clothes. In general, I have a child who is very mobile, has no sense of danger, likes to splash around and is too small to jump in puddles. An amazing combination. This life jacket gives her the freedom of movement she needs. It's not perfect, she had a little adjustment period trying to sit in it and just turn around. But she has learned to…
