Not that it matters in a pandemic world when everything is closed and nothing to do, but winter is coming NE and with my last class under my belt and Junior 2 in school (FINALLY!) got it I really needed time for myself and the opportunity to learn a skill that I've desperately wanted to have forever. Especially if I'm spending $20 on a kid's t-shirt because I really like the design even though I know it's on a $3 shirt I can buy at Wally World. First, the packaging is absolutely phenomenal. How do I know? When I first got it I put the box in a spare room and a day later I found my little ones jumping on it. Nothing about it was that badly dented. Note the packaging and the high quality of the heat press itself. Second, after you've pulled everything out, it's easy to see what's stuck where and what's what without even opening the instructions. The fact that the temperature/time controller slides and sits on top of the main unit's handle makes it easy to control everything. To set the temperature and time, you literally just press the set button and then use the arrows to adjust. temperature up and down. You can set the time by pressing SET again. When you turn on the device, watch as it heats up to the desired temperature (Celsius or Fahrenheit) very quickly. When the pointer is pressed and locked, the timer will start counting down and emit a beep to let you know when it reaches zero. There were also 4 drawings on thermal transfer paper in the kit. I grabbed a garden shirt just to see if they could be used and voila! I now have a Capt America shirt for outdoor work. rzunimag. Also (because I was curious) I used the recommended temperature and time settings and was actually able to use the paper a second time to print the design onto the back of the shirt with the same consistency and depth of colour. Seriously, it was set/click/go easy for me to make shirts. I bought the book to learn how to do more advanced things with my Cricut Maker and am so excited to learn the different temperature and time settings for vacuum mugs, coffee mugs and some baseball caps for my senior. There were no weird smells, the unit only got hot where it was supposed to be, and the ability to lift the top of the press and get it out of the way makes it less likely that little wandering hands (or even mine) are honest ) burn. itself. For the price this machine was absolutely phenomenal and suited so many projects for me!
