I've been using it for years with no problems. I used to lose internet all the time when I rented a modem from a cable company. But not since I bought this modem. One problem is that unfortunately I now have WOW as my ISP. Although this modem is on WOW's list of compatible modems and states that it can achieve download speeds of 500Mbps, WOW techs keep telling me it's not compatible with their service. I think that means you'll get faster speeds with this modem if you avoid WOW than if you use it. But despite the lousy ISPs, this is a reliable modem and I highly recommend it.
