I bought it at least 6 years ago. I've since swapped out my router to keep up with the standards, but this thing still keeps my 150Mbps internet connection going. The only way to get more out of a modem is to buy one that supports more downloads and download channels than this one. I believe this one supports 4up and 4down at 150Mbps (although technically it should be 172Mbps with 4 channels since each channel supports 43Mbps). Just received. Plugged in and called Comcast and it works with no problems. Comcast was very efficient. All this took about 20 minutes from opening the package to connecting to the network. The only annoyance was that I use Linux. I restarted windows and tried to run the setup wizard but that did nothing and did nothing. The problem is not with Linux.
