I bought it at least 6 years ago. I've since swapped out my router to keep up with the standards, but this thing still keeps my 150Mbps internet connection going. The only way to get more out of a modem is to buy one that supports more downloads and download channels than this one. I believe this one supports 4up and 4down at 150Mbps (although technically it should be 172Mbps with 4 channels since each channel supports 43Mbps). Some of the more expensive offerings support 32 download channels, but that's a bit excessive for consumer applications at the moment. Definitely a good, reliable modem. I had no problems with that.
