Review on GMB 125 1620 Replacement Water Gasket by Dan Davis

water pump for my 1992 Ford F150 4.9L engine. The water pump looked fine, but I couldn't install it. I tried to install it but couldn't line up the mounting holes in the pump with the holes in the block. The reason for the misalignment was that the heater hose connecting pipe was butting against the alternator bracket. Compared to the old water pump and the GMB water pump, the GMB's connecting pipe looked slightly larger than the original and had a slightly different curvature, which caused interference with the alternator bracket. I bought another one from my local parts store and it fitted with no problems, just like the original. I am in the process of returning GMB to Revain for a refund.
