Seems to work as well if not better than the branded filter for my Holmes Desktop Cleaner which I use all the time! I love that it comes with carbon filters for an extra layer of filtering (maybe that's why it works so well in comparison?) In any case I'm very satisfied. You realize how very big name brands overload things, I got 2 of these filters for a lower price than one of the big name brands which is MUCH more economical and again it seems to work fine! Update 16/5: Filter change after only 1.5-2 months, comparison with the first. It looks like it's doing its job, and doing it well. You can see how dirty our air is getting everywhere! (And I change the air filter in our air conditioner/stove all the time too). THEREFORE we need to be concerned about climate change and the fragile environment of our planet.
