Review on 🔁 Cisco-Linksys BEFSR41 EtherFast Cable/DSL Router: Enhanced Connectivity with 4-Port 10/100 Switch by Eric Fuego

I have to admit that I bought this router not only for its functionality but also for its looks. This is a very nice device. The lights on the front proved very useful and make for a nice light show too! No other router has as many lightbulbs as this little one! I think I would have preferred a flat top to make it easier for me to put other things on top, but I'm picky. Installation was easy for me after updating to the latest firmware. Routers sold now already have the latest firmware, so others probably don't need to bother. I've owned this router for almost a year now and it works perfectly. It seems like we have to reset our router and DSL modem about every 4 months, but it could just be our ISP. The router works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and almost does not heat up. My connection has a static IP, so I haven't used the PPPoE/Dynamic IP feature, but I've heard it works very well. On this and all other routers there is a way to set more than one computer as a DMZ (not a firewall), which makes life easier when gaming online. If that weren't the case, it would be nice if all computers could do DMZ. Using a software firewall solution is better than locking all but one computer behind a hardware firewall. You won't be disappointed!
