The Chutes and Ladders game we already owned was the old version that had chutes and ladders based on good/bad choices. It was falling apart and dated. This was definitely an upgrade for us. My 4 and 2 yr old girls loved it! It was creative, each space that has a ladder has a princess’s animal sidekick and the corresponding princess at the top of the ladder. Each chute space started with the bad-guy sidekick and slid down to the corresponding bad-guy.The girls loved to point out all the movies. It also made going backwards not as bad if they got to be close to a different princess.I liked that you could put whichever 4 princess stickers you wanted on the pieces. Two downsides: one, it’s chutes and ladders so the games can go on forever. But you pry already know that. Two: the game pieces are a bit big at the bottom and don’t fit well in the squares. Also I thought maybe they would look like miniature princesses. I think that would have been better than stickers. Just have all the different princesses as miniature people options for the pawns. The box and board and pieces all seem sturdy and we’ve already played several games.A great option for princess-lovers!
