Very handy! It's incredibly easy to switch between sizes. All you need is a coin or a screwdriver. The chrome comes off easily and after months of being attached there is plenty of rust even without a trailer (although I understand that a hitch is not designed for permanent attachment and should not have left it if it was not being used). However, the rust is purely aesthetic as the towbar works perfectly. Note that if you live in a high crime area, something can easily steal the spare ball if left on the hitch (this hasn't happened to me, but I would be possible). However, with the trailer attached, it is securely anchored. Definitely worth buying if you use different hitch sizes! EDIT: Shortly after using it I ran into the same problem most people have; The ball is stuck and cannot be changed. The problem is rust on the small ball bearings. I've found that soaking the whole piece in concentrated CLR (or something fairly acidic) weakens it enough that a couple of hard hits with a hammer will release the ball. Cleaning the exposed ball bearings with CLR helped a bit. After rinsing it all off with water, I sprayed it liberally with WD-40 and added a few drops of 3-in-1 oil to each ball bearing. Seems to work much better now!
