This mat is beautiful but super annoying! It is ALWAYS losing its fibers! I had this on an oak parquet floor and the gray and white pieces of yarn are showing all over! I try so hard to pick them up, vacuum or mop them at least 5 times a day. Unfortunately, I didn't use this mat until a few weeks after it was delivered. We had just moved into the house and there was too much to do. You only have 30 days to return it and I have two weeks left. Last week I figured I'd try washing it and all the excess fibers would come out. Imagine my surprise when we found that this gentle washing in cold water and air drying only aided hair fall. I wonder how shabby this rug will look after a few washes. Anyway, I won't find this answer as it's going straight to the trash now! What a waste of money!
