I am a 65 year old active 145lb female grandmother who wanted to skate safely with her grandchildren after not skating for over 15 years. I found these pads a bit tight and hot. The palm rests were also very hard and felt a little awkward. With my new sturdy skates, they easily negotiated uneven terraces with jagged obstacles. I would be uncomfortable wearing them for more than an hour, especially on warm days.
