I've only had this lamp a month but it's excellent. I mounted it on the truck bed next to the tailgate as I have a roll up awning on my truck and I sometimes need a light in the truck bed. I've considered wiring the light but I think this is a better alternative as it can now be removed to do other things e.g. Changing tires, looking under the hood, etc. The flashlight puts out a nice bright white light and has a fairly strong magnet. The user manual says Contact us for a free replacement or a full refund with no hassles of return shipping or additional charges. I had to contact the company because I gave away the original lamp I bought to my father because he really liked it. I ordered a second one and it gave off a weird greenish light which was annoying. I contacted support and told them about the problem and they sent another light which was delivered two days later with no problems. The replacement lamp that was sent worked perfectly. That is what defines excellent customer service and I would recommend this product to others.
